For all you women out there who need to get a break from the men in your life, or who just want to kick back with the girls, have we got the solution for you!

Spa Party To The Rescue

Have you ever thought about throwing a fun-filled afternoon or evening spa party for the ladies? Take it from someone who knows, there is nothing better than a relaxing few hours of getting pampered, manicured, massaged, pedicured; getting acrylic nails and doing so much more girly stuff.

Spa party
Combine that with some fruity cocktails and hours of the latest gossip with the girls, and you will soon be wishing it never had to end. Here are our tips for organizing an unforgettable spa party.

Set The Date

Set a date at least two weeks in advance. This will give enough time for your guests to re-arrange their schedule, and make sure they know how fun it is going to be, and how it will be so worth it to find a way to attend!

Probably the most popular way invite your guests is to do an e-mail invitation. Although it sounds a bit impersonal, it doesn’t have to be. E-mail invitations can be individualized and personalized for your guests. This is assuming your girls are all into the high tech world.

Another way would be to post the party on your Facebook profile or Myspace page, or if all else fails, even a good old-fashioned phone call will do the trick

Purchase Some Inexpensive Beauty Products

Lots of people think you need to have the latest high-quality spa products to have a spa party. This isn’t true. You are having a fun and relaxing time, not trying to impress on the runway or outdo the Jonses. Check out some stores online, or go to your local beauty store and purchase some spa products that won’t break your bank account.

Here Are Some Must-have Beauty Products

  • Foot creme
  • Foot scrub
  • Hand lotion
  • Cuticle creme
  • Eye creme
  • Face mask
  • Cucumber slices

If your girls are up for it, they can help spread out the cost of the spa party by each bringing one or two items.

Have Some Good Drinks and Snacks

Consider what food you are wanting to have at the spa party. Most likely you will have a mask on and lotion on your hands so food has to be well thought out.

Consider having chips, popcorn and peanuts. Maybe some easy to eat appetizers. Nothing too messy. For drinks make sure to have water (flavored is good), maybe some lemonade or freshly squeezed juice, sodas, and also some wine coolers or blender drinks on hand.

This Is Really All About Friends and Fun

Last but not least, relax and don’t forget to have fun! Make sure to charge up the digital camera so you can take plenty of candid pictures and post them on Facebook or just share them with other friends and family. Play some upbeat music and most of all have fun.

This is a day of pampering and relaxing. Enjoy yourself!
